We are learning to measure in centimetres and square centimetres. We are learning the difference between length, width and area. Have you done this in your classroom?

No, I have not done that in my class. But I am pretty sure I did something like that in preschool.

That's clever! When we learned this unit, we never thought of this idea. But it seems fun to do.

Hi year 5 it's really nice to get in touch with you guys. I wish we did something about feet because it looks really exiting. Have you guys painted your feet yet? We have because we put are painted feet on a big piece of A4 paper one day I will like to see you

We measured our feet to find out how many square centimetres there were in each footprint. We counted them and that person had the biggest feet.
