In Year 5 we are learning to talk about our thinking using De Bono's Six Thinking Hats.
Last week we evaluated a poem using these hats. When we talk about our thinking it is called 'metacognition' and it helps us to learn effectively. Do you use Six Hats? . Tell us what you think. Our thought poems. Can you shut your eyes and see our pictures? They have verbs, and similes. Raindrops Drip, drip dripping Down the window pane Like a slow moving river Finding its own way Down By Mrs Ballantyne Drinking glasses Clink, clinking!
